The Pipes and Drums of the Jersey Shore Shillelagh's was created in 1998 to promote the fun and enjoyment of bagpipes and drumming as a way to keep in touch with our Irish culture and heritage.

Approximately 25% of our performances are for charities, fund raisers and other volunteer organizations.

The band is sponsored by The Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh of the Jersey Shore, Belmar, NJ. However, band members need not be members of the club. All we request is that our members have an honest interest in the growth and character of our band.

We are available for a variety of events. We would be glad to discuss rates and availability.

We practice every Tuesday evenings at the Ascension Church in Bradley Beach (in the gym), at 6:30pm for beginners and 7:30pm for band members. If you already know how to play bagpipes or drums, and want to join the band, just head over to practice around 7:30pm on a Tuesday evening and check us out..
